How Payments Work

Section titled “Overview”When you approve a pay run, VoltPay moves money through an optimized path from your bank account to each contractor’s preferred payout method.
The Payment Flow

Section titled “What VoltPay Does at Each Step”- Funding: Debits your linked bank account for the total pay run amount
- Routing: Selects the optimal rail for each contractor based on cost, speed, and preference
- Conversion: Handles currency conversion at competitive rates (not your bank’s markup)
- Delivery: Sends funds to each contractor via their chosen method
- Confirmation: Updates status in real-time and notifies both you and the contractor

Payment fees are included in your per-contractor monthly fee. There are no additional per-transaction charges for standard payments.
